UNIBEN approves mandatory levy payment for Physical Sciences Students

Just two weeks ago, a secular was passed online which explained that the Uniben of Benin(UNIBEN) puts a full stop to all illegal levy payments imposed on students by various departments in the University.

Barely a month later and another secular has been spotted demanding all students in the faculty of Physical science to pay a mandatory fee of N1,000 into what seems like a private bank account in the Microfinance Bank located within the school premises.

This new development has ofcourse been met with a lot of reactions from students on Facebook, Nairaland and Siggy.ng; with students requesting to know the reason for the mandatory levy imposed on them by the Faculty.

Up to the time of writing this article, no reason has been provided for the imposed levy.
