A female corps member, Faith Onoriode, who was kidnapped by bandits along the Abuja-Kaduna road has been released by her abductors, Siggy reports.
Faith Onoriode who was abducted with other commuters on March 21st while on her way to the Jigawa state orientation camp has been released after her family paid some ransom requirements.
Her brother, Mr. Festus Onoriode, who spoke to newsmen said she was released on Sunday, May 29, and is currently undergoing medical attention.
He explained that Faith was released after the family was able to give her abductors a motorbike, five Tecno phones, 100,000 worth of airtime (MTN and Airtel), and two million naira cash. He added that they had to travel from Kaduna to Lagos state to get the specified motorcycle and mobile phones the kidnappers requested for because it was not available in Kaduna.

Festus who thanked God that Faith was not sexually assaulted further added that while delivering the ransom, the bandits instructed them to use the service of escorts in order to easily maneuver the military checkpoints without raising brows.
