Covenant University has restricted Students’ Internet Usage To 1 Hour Daily.
Siggy reports that Covenant University has restricted students access to internet in the institution to just one hour in a day.
This has sparked several reactions on the social media as some described the new rule as human especially at a time where every student need to have undisturbed access to the internet.

Covenant university is known for it’s rigid rules in discipline of students. In the institution, students are not allowed to use phones, social media, and are monitored on what they check up on the internet.
In the video, you can see their assistant chaplain Dr Azubuike speaking about regulating social media such as Instagram Twitter Snapchat tiktok etc so that students can focus.

Covenant university doesn’t allow students to use phone or sim enabled device. The school provides wifi access for the students
Each student is entitled to 15gig per month.
