The Senate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State has warned that indecent dressing by students will henceforth be prohibited around its walls, Siggy reports.
It has announced that any student caught dressing indecently, would be suspended for one semester as punishment for the act. The decision was reached during the school’s senate meeting held on August 25, 2021.

he warning was contained in a memo dated, September 7th, and addressed to the entire school management. The memo listed acts of indecent dressing to include wearing skimpy skirts and blouses, leaving the cleavages open by female students, and wearing braids or dreadlocks, earrings, nose rings, tattered jeans, and sagging by some male students.

The circular with with reference number AD/ REG//CIR/58/VOL. VI/309 was signed by the registrar of the school, Olugbenga Arajulu .
