Over 60% of pollution in large cities are way higher than WHO’S safe limit. Bad air is a major cause of lung cancer, eye irritation, headaches, respiratory problems etc.

Fresh air is essential for maintaining good health and well-being. It contains higher levels of oxygen and lower levels of pollutants which can have numerous benefits for our physical and mental health.

Here are some of the key benefits of fresh air:

Improves respiratory health: Fresh air helps to clear our lungs of pollutants, allergens, and other irritants. It can also improve our lung capacity and reduce the risk of respiratory infections.

Boosts immune system:

Fresh air is rich in oxygen, which is essential for our immune system. When we breathe in fresh air, our bodies produce more white blood cells, which helps us fight off infections and diseases.

Increases energy levels:

Fresh air can increase our energy levels and make us feel more alert and focused. It can also improve our mood and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.

Promotes better sleep:

Fresh air can help us sleep better by promoting relaxation and reducing the likelihood of respiratory issues that can interfere with sleep.

Enhances cognitive function:

Fresh air can improve our cognitive function and help us think more clearly. It can also improve our memory and concentration.

Steps in making your Air fresher

1. INDOOR PLANTS:

The air we breathe indoors is five times more polluted that outdoor air. An average person stays at least 12hrs at home, so we must purify the air we breathe indoors. The most efficient way is to pot anti air pollution plants in our homes. These plants are Areca palms( converts CO2 to O2 during the day and should be kept in the living room), snake plant( converts CO2 to O2 at night best kept in the bedroom) and money plants(eliminate formaldehyde and other volatile chemicals). These three plants provide you all the fresh air you need. Scientists have said if you stay in a closed bottle with these three plants you won’t die.

2. WEAR AN ANTI POLLUTION MASK:

A good mask should be fabricated to remove 2.5 particle matter and should fit your face. It’s important to choose a good one.

3. AIR PURIFIER:

If you live in a highly polluted area then you should invest in a purifier. Make sure the purifier has HEPA filter as it remove the tiniest pollutants.

Breathing fresh air is more than essential for good health. A little investment in the above mentioned could save you a life time ailment.
